One calculator engine — three places to reach it. The iOS app for hearings on the go, the Chrome extension for the cases on your desktop, and the web workspace for the deep work in between.
Your AWW, your SLU percentages, your fee app math — every input syncs across every platform you sign into. Calculate on the train, finish at your desk, pull it up in the hearing room.
The hearing-room workhorse. Run AWW, SLU, indemnity rates, and fee app math with one hand on the way to the floor.
For the cases that live in your browser. Highlight any wage statement, IME report, or carrier email — get the calculation back in the side panel without leaving the page.
Every calculator on one canvas. Drag, drop, switch cases without losing your place — and now open to the public as a free demo.
Workers' comp work doesn't happen at one desk. It happens at the hearing, at the firm, and at the kitchen table at 9pm. So the tool meets you everywhere the work does.
iOS app, one hand, AWW in 4 seconds. Settlement math while the WCLJ is still flipping through the C-2.
Chrome extension highlights a wage statement out of an adjuster email and returns the AWW without breaking your reading flow.
Web workspace for the deep cases — every tile on one canvas, drag-and-drop between cases, multi-monitor friendly.
One account, one Pro/Firm subscription, one cloud-synced case library. Switch screens, never re-enter an AWW.
Built around three small workflows that come up every day — and nothing else.
Permissions are narrow on purpose. The extension uses activeTab only — it cannot read any page until you explicitly highlight text and invoke it. Read the full privacy policy →
The extension is in the Chrome Web Store review queue. Drop your email above and you'll get a single notification email the day the listing goes live — no marketing, no list-rental.
No. The extension uses the activeTab permission only, which means it cannot see any page content until you explicitly highlight text and invoke the right-click menu or side panel. It does not request broad host permissions. Full breakdown on the extension privacy page.
No. Free calculators (AWW, indemnity rates, basic SLU) work on every platform with no sign-in. Pro tiles (radiculopathy, fee app generator, multi-tab workspace) require a Pro or Firm subscription — same as on iOS and web.
Yes. Sign in with the same account on every platform and your saved cases, custom rate tables, and Pro/Firm tier all carry over. Sync is real-time over Supabase.
Not yet. Android is on the roadmap behind the Chrome extension. The web workspace works fine on mobile Chrome in the meantime — it's a progressive web app and installs to your home screen.
The Comp Desk is built by a practicing NYS Workers' Compensation attorney. It is operated by NJJ Document Services, Inc. It is a document-preparation and information service — not a law firm, and it does not provide legal advice.
