What the Chrome extension does, exactly.

Built around three small workflows that come up every day — and nothing else.

Highlight a wage statement. Right-click → "Calculate with The Comp Desk." The extension pulls the gross-wage column into the AWW calculator. The page itself is never read.

Drop an IME report into the side panel. Paste the impairment language and the extension surfaces the matching SLU percentage and award math, with the Guidelines citation alongside.

Run the fee app right where you draft. Side-panel fee app generator computes the equation against your file's existing awards — no copy-paste between tabs.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Chrome extension launch?

The extension is in the Chrome Web Store review queue. Drop your email above and you'll get a single notification email the day the listing goes live — no marketing, no list-rental.

Does the extension read everything I browse?

No. The extension uses the activeTab permission only, which means it cannot see any page content until you explicitly highlight text and invoke the right-click menu or side panel. It does not request broad host permissions. Full breakdown on the extension privacy page.

Do I need a Pro or Firm subscription to use the extension?

No. Free calculators (AWW, indemnity rates, basic SLU) work on every platform with no sign-in. Pro tiles (radiculopathy, fee app generator, multi-tab workspace) require a Pro or Firm subscription — same as on iOS and web.

Will the extension sync with my iOS cases?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on every platform and your saved cases, custom rate tables, and Pro/Firm tier all carry over. Sync is real-time over Supabase.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Android is on the roadmap behind the Chrome extension. The web workspace works fine on mobile Chrome in the meantime — it's a progressive web app and installs to your home screen.
